Speckles was found in the country in the road trying to get into cars. It seemed clear to the people who took her in that she had been abandoned and was looking for her family. Often, people think it is kinder to dump them in the country or a even a busy public place. We have witnessed these events at times and have heard from the public. It is incredibly sad to watch someone push a dog out of their car, barely stopping to do so, and rapidly drive away while the dog who dearly loves them chases behind them.

We know for fact that Speckles deserves far better than this in life. She's a wonderful, happy girl with lots of love to give, a warm personality, tons of smarts, and it doesn't hurt that she's extremely cuddly either! Speckles would fit in very well with a family with children and another dog - though this is not a requirement. Speckles would fit in nicely with most families. She's loves to play and be around her people.

All dogs receive a distemper/parvovirus vaccine(s), kennel cough vaccine, rabies vaccine, dewormer, monthly heartworm prevention, microchip, and are spayed/neutered through CARE.
