  • Rescue ID: CARE0954
  • General Color: Black
  • Current Age: 18 Years 4 Months (best estimate)
  • Location: Columbia SC (803) 622-9813

Jael came to us from a local shelter as part of a large "breeder dump." She was pregnant, so we gave her a wonderful place to raise her babies. Jael has been an excellent mom to her 6 babies and has come a long way from the scared little girl we met her first day in rescue. Her babies are now 6 weeks old, which is the proper time for them to leave and get homes of their very own.

Jael is loving, smart and litterbox trained. She is just starting to play with toys, loves having her ears groomed by her babies or human, and loves all sorts of veggies! She really enjoys being held and loved on. She will be spayed soon and is eager to start her new life with a family to call her own. Please give Jael the forever family she's always deserved.

Breeds are often our "best guess" based on experience, weight, vet sugestions, and other factors.

*Safe* indoor/outdoor homes will be considered, but prefer indoor only. Adopters must be close enough to bring rabbits back to CARE for spay/neuter if not already done. A $50 Neuter deposit is required in addition to the adoption fee. Once the spay/neuter is complete the deposit will be refunded.

All rabbits receive a veterinary exam and are spay/neutered through CARE. Each rabbit is fed a high quality rabbit pellet, grass hay, and fresh fruits and vegetables. To learn all you need to know about proper rabbit care and why bonded pairs are a great idea, please visit: http://www.rabbit.org/.
