Jamee is loving and friendly, but independent too. He gets along with everybody and is super smart! He potty trained himself in a flash and has learned to sit and down! He knows to lay down and wait patiently for his meals to be prepared. He loves to wake you in the a.m. for his breakfast by playfully rolling around with you on the bed.
Jamee would do great with a companion to play with and keep him company. He has been a foster with Sonny (also up for adoption) for the last 6-7 mths. and his doggie foster mom, Bridget, a female Doberman. They all play very well together!
Jamee has the most incredible shiny coat and beautiful clear, brown eyes and loves baby carrots, as his natural treat. He's an absolute joy to have around! When you return home, his whole rear end wags, like he is doing the twist...not just his little tail. Soooo sweet and loving...He is a keeper for sure!! Oh, he is a great alarm system too, is very observant and will alert you to strangers in the yard or a the door with his unique bark.
Jamee came into rescue as a special needs baby, because he born with genital defects (rare) and was totally impacted, near death. He's had a long and difficult road with corrective surgery, healing and a lot of love and patience, but has been a real trooper and beat all the odds. His only special requirement is that he must be fed a good quality, highly digestable food, which can be found in local pet stores (dry mixed w/a little canned) and lots of exercise to keep his digestive system regular.
If I had room, I would keep this one....
